Jane Anderson, age 68, of Linneus, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
A funeral service will be Saturday, February 8, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Linneus Baptist Church. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Brookfield. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home in Brookfield and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening.

Jane Ann, daughter of Porter and Eunice (Maggart) Sayre, was born December 26, 1945, in Kirksville. On June 27, 1965, she married Johnny Anderson.
Jane was a 1962 graduate of Liberty High School in Browning and graduated from Kirksville Teacher’s College in Kirksville with a Bachelor of Science Degree and Masters Degree in education. She was an elementary school teacher for three years at the Brookfield RIII School and retired after teaching 34 years at the Linn County RI Elementary School. She was a member of the Linneus Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Anderson of the home; five children, Jena Cupp and Jonna Weydert and husband, Jason all of Brookfield, Jada Belew and Jerrol Anderson both of Kansas City, and Joel Anderson and wife, Kelsey of Minneapolis, Minnesota; 13 grandchildren, Austin, Ashlyn, Anthony, and Andrew Cupp, Jaclyn, Julia, and Jordan Weydert, Braden and Kenna Belew, Chase, Abigail, Max, and Neva Anderson; her mother, Eunice Sayre of Brookfield; one sister, Jean Miller and husband, Jerry of Browning; one brother, Bill Sayre and wife, C.J. of Brookfield; a sister-in-law, Carol Sayre of Browning; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Her father, Porter Sayre; one brother, Donald Sayre; a sister-in-law, Conda Sayre; father-in-law, Raymond Anderson and mother-in-law, Neva Anderson also preceded her in death.
